Esme Cullen Character Design

Just Ezzy.  

I can't seem to settle on a character design for her that I like enough to keep consistent; mainly it's her hair length that changes, and the texture of it, going from waves to tighter curls at will or depending on whatever mood I happen to be in at the time I draw her.

This is the part of character design I dislike a little bit; the in between, when there isn't a solid concept to base your next piece off of, or that nagging notion in your mind that, for whatever reason you can or can't understand, "she just doesn't look right."  Worse, having no idea how to MAKE her right as you see her in your mind!  Ugh!  That frustrates the snot outta me.

I think I might keep my Esme in the future close to this drawing I have here, but maybe tamper with the length of her hair and shorten it just a tiny bit.  Pretty much what I'm saying is, "I have no idea what Esme Cullen looks like in my mind's eye/imagination, that's why I draw her so differently every time I put her on paper."

Sorry.  I'll stop waffling eventually and come up with a solid design on Esme that's "mine" or as "mine" as she can be, what with already belonging to Stephenie Meyer and all.
