Description
Just Renesmee "Nessie" Cullen.
I was tinkering around with colors without color palettes. (Backstory for those just joining us: I rely heavily on color palettes in my work because I am colorblind. Yes, it's rare in females, I know. Every blood Pope female in my clan that didn't marry in has it. I'm speshul. Er, we are.)
One color I don't use often and do struggle with is purple. And I don't know why, as I can see that color just fine, or at least I think I can, LOL! I decided to do a mainly purple piece of dhampyr darling Renesmee Cullen. I figured I'd use this piece because I had used it as an experiment already in clothing and pose, may as well go all out and use it as a color experiment, too. Why not just use it as an experiment? It started out that way as it was, I was trying to teach myself more "interesting" poses, since the ones I do now aren't pleasing to me.
All in all, on all experiments pictured here, I can't say I'm entirely displeased. Not entirely. It wasn't as difficult to color in purple as I had hoped. I may use the color more often, and if nothing else, keep pushing myself outside of my artistic comfort zone. (Some really smart and handsome guy told me that once; push the boundaries of your comfort levels until they get boring to you, then push them a little further out a little each time. Puppetcancer, I wonder who it was that told me that? He's a darned good looker, whoever he was.)
Nessie belongs to Stephenie Meyer.
